Our Care

General physician for adults

Alongside children’s care, Dr Amir Rasheed sees adults for general physician consultations, with laboratory tests, IV treatment and a pharmacy at the clinic.

Care for the whole family

Parents and other adult family members can be seen at the same clinic, during the same clinic hours. A consultation covers your current symptoms, your medical history and the medicines you already take.

  • Fever, flu and seasonal illness
  • Cough, colds and throat infections
  • Stomach upsets and diarrhoea
  • General health concerns and follow-up

Laboratory tests

When a test would help explain your symptoms, laboratory tests are available at the clinic. The results and what they mean for your treatment are discussed with you.

IV fluids & IV antibiotics

Some patients need treatment through a drip, such as IV fluids for dehydration or IV antibiotics for an infection. When the doctor decides this is needed, it can be given at the clinic.

On-site pharmacy

The clinic has its own pharmacy, so prescribed medicines can usually be collected before you leave.

Bring your current prescriptions and any recent reports to the consultation, so new treatment can be matched to what you already take.

When to go to emergency instead

For chest pain, severe difficulty breathing, heavy bleeding, sudden weakness or numbness, confusion, fainting or a seizure, go to the nearest hospital emergency department straight away.

Your next step.

Discuss your health concerns with Dr Amir Rasheed.
